What is DocAsap?
DocAsap is a doctor appointment booking website. Just select your specialty preference, location and insurance type, and we'll show you real-time available appointment slots that you can book online. No more calling in to get appointments!

How do I book an appointment on DocAsap?
Search for a doctor or dentist in your area (we're only in Philly and South Jersey right now) and select an appointment time. Create a 'New User' account. Validate your account and get the appointment by clicking the link sent to you via email. Next time you have to book an appointment, just select your appointment and log-in as an existing user, and you're done.

How do I view or cancel a reservation?
Log-in to your account to view your existing appointment reservations To cancel an appointment before the 24 hour threshold, click the 'X'next to an appointment to cancel, and you're done.

What is your cancellation and 'no-show' policy?
Cancellations for DocAsap appointments should be made through your account (see above). DocAsap lets you cancel an appointment with at least 24 hours notice. If a practice reports you as a no-show, you will get an email. For future appointments, you will need to deposit a credit card number to book appointments. If you fail to show up to a future appointment, the practice will charge your credit card in accordance with their no-show policy.

What if I feel a no-show has been assigned in error?
Email the help desk with your appointment confirmation code and any evidence that you went to the appointment and we will remedy the situation with the practice.

What do I do if a doctor cancels my appointment?
Since doctors have occasional unplanned cancellations, we alert you in advance so you can make another appointment on our site. If you have an issue please email us at Help Desk.

Where do reviews on DocAsap come from, and how can I leave one?
DocAsap ensures the accuracy of its reviews by only letting actual patients who booked and honored their DocAsap appointment to review the doctor. We maintain the anonymity of the patient to maintain their privacy. After you have booked an appointment, you will receive an email to review the doctor, though per our terms of use we reserve the right to take down a review of an appointment you did not make, and reserve the right to edit your review before publishing. DocAsap reserves the right to publish reviews after editorial review and when there are multiple reviews for a doctor to ensure the rating is representative.

Why do I need to enter a phone or credit card number?
We collect phone numbers to let practices call patients to gather any additional information needed for an appointment and in case an appointment conflict arises. Also, we will send an SMS to confirm accounts at times. We collect credit card numbers for future appointments when a patient was previously reported to be a no-show by a practice. If you are a no-show a second time, the practice will charge your card in accordance with their no-show policies. If you would like to dispute a no-show, please email the help desk.

How do I edit account information or view my current and past appointments?
Click the Login link to change your contact settings, add additional members to your family, schedule appointments with doctors you've seen in the past, see future scheduled appointments, or cancel appointments.
